Hoy traigo un popurrí hablando de varias cosas, intentaré ser breve con cada una de ellas para no aburriros, así que espero que no se os haga pesado =)

This is a mix-post where I'm gonna write about a few things and I'll try to make it short so I don't bore you to death lol, so I hope you stay until the end =)

Lo primero es lo primero y aunque algunos ya lo sabréis porque lo puse por mis redes sociales, no puedo dejar de mencionarlo también por aquí. Y es que veréis: hace unos meses Stephen Amell lanzó una campaña vendiendo unas camisetas chulisimas cuyo diseño me encantó desde el minuto uno, pero es que además el dinero recaudado (la mayoría del dinero recaudado, que las camisetas no se hacen solas) sería destinado a una organización contra el cáncer, llamada F*ck Cancer. Sin dudarlo ni un momento me esforcé por reunir el dinero (regalo adelantado de Navidad) y pedí la mía: quería participar, me parecía una oportunidad genial y no la dejé escapar porque además, la campaña duraría unos cuantos días nada más y después (supuestamente) no iba a haber más, es decir: ahora o nunca. Una especie de mezcla entre 'campaña contrareloj' y 'camiseta única'. Así que lo dicho, pedí la mía y me puse a esperar pacientemente. Casi dos semanas y pico después me llegó y yo era feliz cual perdiz tocando las castañuelas.
Finalmente esa campaña se lanzó tres veces más por periodos de tiempo limitado (la demanda era bestial) y además de camisetas también había sudaderas de varios estilos y bolsos. Es decir: pasen y vean y compren algo con el jeto del Sr. Amell estampado en una prenda de ropa xD
Cuando Stephen comunicó que la cantidad conseguida entre todas las compras de todos los artículos ascendía a más de un millón de dólares (y la campaña aún no había terminado) yo flipé por colores (y no fui la única). Es genial saber que todo ese dinero servirá para ayudar a personas que lo están pasando mal, que están luchando por sus vidas y que recibirán algún tipo de ayuda para que ese difícil camino se les haga un poco más fácil.
Así que yo voy a lucir mi camiseta con orgullo, levantando el dedo corazón al cáncer y deseando que mucha gente también lo haga de manera literal y ganen esa batalla.

First things first and although some of you already know about this because I posted it on my social media, I needed to post it over here too. So let me explain it to you first: some months ago Stephen Amell launched a campaign selling badass t-shirts with a design I fell for seconds later of seeing it, but more importantly: the money raised from the purchase of those tees (most of it at least, lets remember that a t-shirt doesn't come out of thin air) will go to an organization against cancer called F*ck Cancer. I didn't hesitate about it and I asked for a very early Xmas present so I could buy one: I wanted to participate, I thought it was such a great oportunity and I didn't want to miss it. Besides, the campaign would last only a couple of days and then it would be gone forever, so to sum-up: it was a 'now or never' thing. A mix between 'campaign against the clock' and 'unique t-shirt'. So, as I said above: I purchased mine and waited for it to arrive. Almost two weeks and some days later the postwoman arrived to my door with the package and I was so excited I almost started to cry.
In the end, the campaign was launched three times because a lot of people missed it the first time and wanted one (there was a huge demand) and the fact that there were more than one style of tees, sweaters, tote bags and so on made it even bigger. It was like: come on in, purchase an item with Mr. Amell's face on it and be happy forever LMAO
When Stephen told us that the campaigns have raised more than one million dollars (with the third campaign still going) I was so surprised and happy I couldn't even believe it! It is great that the money you are spending on something will go to people who really need help, who are fighting such a hard battle and that there will be some way in which they will receive a helping hand to make that journey a little bit better somehow.
So from now on I'm gonna put on my tee every once in a while, giving the finger to cancer and wishing that the people fighting that horrible disease win the battle soon. 

➳ Pasando a otra cosa... / Up to the next point...

Hace una o dos semanas más o menos me volví a inspirar y me puse a escribir algunos fanfics (el insomnio tiene la culpa en gran medida) y el hecho de que llevara más de un año sin escribir absolutamente nada me tenía asustada al principio. He perdido práctica, eso está claro, pero no la puedo recuperar si no me pongo de nuevo a ello. Así que me dieron un par de ideas para escribir y allá que me lancé. La primera fue cortita, pero la segunda un poco más larga.
Para mi sorpresa, ambos fics llevan bastantes favs y follows en FF.net y bastantes reblogs en tumblr, así que yo ya estoy feliz.
Seguiré practicando en mis noches en vela, así que espero mejorar pronto.
Que por cierto, aún tengo pendiente escribir un post sobre la mid season finale de Arrow, porque necesito soltarlo por algún sitio (aunque tumblr me ha sido de gran ayuda estas semanas jajajaja)
One or two weeks ago or so I was inspired once again to write fanfics (blame my insomnia) but the fact that the last time I wrote something goes back to more than a year ago had me pretty nervous about the whole thing. I'm rusty, that's for sure, but if I don't practice and if I don't try I won't get the 'experience' back. So a few ideas were given to me and I jumped into them and started writting. The first one was a short one, but the second has a good lenght I think.
To my surprise, both fics have quite a few favs and follows on ff.net and also reblogs on my tumblr, so there's that. And I'm happy about it :)
I'll continue practicing during that nights (almost every single one) so I can improve my writting soon.
Speaking of which, I have in mind to write a post about Arrow's mid season finale because I need it, because that show broke me and I need to express myself somewhow (although tumblr has been a good place to do it these couple of weeks lol)

En cinco días me voy de vacaciones "navideñas", o mejor dicho: me voy de compras y a darle la tabarra a Ne durante unos días. Ya visité su ciudad hace años, pero era pequeña y casi no me acuerdo de nada, así que allá que me voy. La aventura la podréis seguir en mi IG seguramente, o cuando vuelva y le dedique un post al viaje =DD Que a todo esto: quedan cinco días, por medias está Nochebuena/Navidad y yo con la maleta aún vacía. Under pressureeeee.... no pasa nada. Lo conseguiré (espero).

In only five days I'm leaving town on my 'xmas' vacation, or better said: i'm going shopping and be a nuisance to Ne for a couple of days. I went to her city years ago, but I was young and can't really remember anything, so here I go again. You'll be able my missadventures on my IG most likely, or when I come back and write a post about it here =DD Oh and btw: I've five days left, Xmas Eve and Xmas Day are in the middle of those days and my suitcase is still empty. Under Pressureeeee.... It's ok, it's ok. I'll make it (hopefully).
