Basada en hechos reales, esta película independiente nos narra la historia de lo peligroso que puede llegar a ser internet. 

Based on a true story, this movie tells a story of how dangerous things can get because of the internet. 

En 2003, Internet era la novedad que atraía a millones de personas. Sin embargo, el control que existía en aquel entonces sobre las salas de chat y la veracidad de todo lo que se contaba en la red era más bien escasa.
Es en esa época donde se narra la historia de un adolescente que comienza a frecuentar una sala de chat online, donde conoce a una chica de la que poco a poco se ha ido enamorando y quien le cuenta sus secretos y le pide favores. Ella no puede hacerlo, así que le pide a Mark que cuide de su hermano pequeño, John, que va a su mismo colegio y quien está sufriendo acoso escolar por parte de sus demás compañeros. Y aunque al principio duda, finalmente accede, y ambos terminan siendo dos amigos con un lazo en común: la hermana de John, la chica de quien Mark está enamorado.
Pero algo desencadena la ira de Mark, quien comienza a realizar locuras cuya magnitud ni siquiera él es realmente consciente.
Una historia basada en hechos reales que puede llegar a dejarnos con los pelos de punta.

In 2003, the Internet was 'that new thing' everyone felt attracted to. But at online chat rooms anything could happen and the veracity about everything on the net wasn't very reliable compared to what we have nowadays. 
Back then is when the story of a teenager who starts vissiting a chat room takes place. In that chat room he meets a girl, whom he falls in love with and whom tells him all her secrets. She then asks Mark a simple favour: look after her younger brother, John. They go to the same school but John is being picked on by other school mates. Mark agrees and that's when a new friendship starts between the two boys who have something in common: that girl (John's sister). 
But something terrible happens and Mark starts doing weird things and some madness will lead him into a situation he can't imagine. 
Based on a true story, this movie can (and will) give us goosebumps.

Remarcar la interpretación de ambos protagonistas: Jamie Blackley y Toby Regbo. Increíbles.
De Jamie me gustó muchísimo esa "facilidad" para transmitir que su personaje siente lo que siente y cómo lo siente. Por qué cree lo que cree y las razones, absolutamente fundadas para el, que le llevan a hacer lo que hace.
Y qué decir de Toby. Este chico me tiene totalmente ganada, pero éste es un trabajo que no se parece en nada a lo que he visto de el antes. Él también tiene una gracia especial para explicar su personaje con pocas palabras, incluso con una sola mirada. Me ha dejado alucinada perdida.
A veces me recuerda a alguien *guiño guiño J guiño guiño*.

I'd like to emphasise the remarkable performances by both of the main actors: Jamie Blackley (Mark) and Toby Regbo (John). Absolutely amazing. 
About Jamie I must say that I loved how easy it seems for him to tell us the story about his character, why he feels what he feels and how he feels it. Why he believes what he believes and the reasons why he does what he does. 
And Toby... well, he's gained my heart since a long time ago, but this movie is not like any other work I've seen him on. He also explains very easily how his character is, even with few words or with just a look. I'm absolutely and utterly amazed. 
Sometimes he reminds me of someone *wink wink J wink wink*...
